Banana Coconut Yogourt Breakfast Parfait

This morning for breakfast I was looking to switch things up a bit.  I’ll come right out and say it: I’m rather obsessed with fibre and regularity.  I really don’t think you could find anyone who’s happy when they’re constipated.  “Oh yeah, my insides feel all bound up and bloated.  I haven’t pooped in days, it’s fantastic!” – you just don’t hear that.

On the other hand, I do love bananas but am often weary of their constipating effects.  In come flax meal and psyllium seed husks to the rescue!  This healthy, protein packed parfait (that seems more like dessert than breakfast) is my new obsession that won’t leave you straining on the john.

Tremblant Weekend

This past weekend 15 of my best friends and I headed up to Mont Tremblant for some fun on the slopes – hence the inactivity on here as of late.  With the penthouse rented in one of the nicest condo complexes in the village, we were bound to have a good time.

3-Minute Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie

I love any kind of chocolate chip cookie but I don’t trust myself making a whole batch of them – I’ll eat them all.

I was over the moon with joy a few months ago when I discovered the piles of easy, single chocolate-chip cookie recipes all over the Internet.  I’ve tried a number of them and they’re mostly good tasting but are not always good for you (i.e. butter + tons of sugar).

Here, I’ve twisted Carrots N’ Cake’s healthy 3-Minute Oatmeal Raisin Cookie recipe a tad in order to satisfy my all too common chocolate cravings.
